Long drum roll please. A strong cold front is expected to arrive in North Texas late Saturday night, ushering in the chilliest air of the Fall season. Unfortunately, it will not bring any precipitation with it.
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. A quiet weather pattern will persist through Saturday, characterized by above-average temperatures and a lack of precipitation. The morning commute should be smooth, with mild and muggy conditions prevailing. However, dense fog is anticipated south of the Dallas-Fort Worth area through mid-morning, with temperatures ranging from the upper 50s to near 60.
Plenty of sunshine is expected today, with highs reaching the low 80s, 12 degrees above average for this time of year.
A weak cold front will move into the area tomorrow afternoon, but it will not bring any rain or significant cooling. Highs will remain around 80 degrees, with morning lows near 60 degrees.
The first half of the weekend is expected to be pleasant, with ample sunshine on Saturday and highs reaching the low 80s. However, a strong cold front will arrive by mid-evening, bringing gusty north winds and ushering in the chilliest air of the Fall season. Unfortunately, no rain is expected with this front.
Sunday morning will be brisk, with a north wind and temperatures dipping into the 40s. Wind chills may be in the upper 30s in some areas. Bundle up, as Sunday will be sunny, windy, and chilly, with afternoon highs only reaching the mid-50s, 14 degrees below average for this time of year.
Before bedtime on Sunday, protect tender vegetation and bring pets indoors, as morning lows may dip slightly below freezing west and north of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with mid-to-upper 30s elsewhere. Patchy frost is also possible, depending on wind conditions.
Monday will be beautiful but cool, with lighter winds and afternoon highs in the mid-50s, well below average for this time of year.
A warm-up is expected to start on Tuesday and continue through the rest of the week, with plenty of sunshine and highs reaching the upper 60s on Veterans Day, upper 70s on Wednesday, and a stiff south wind on Thursday, with highs returning to the 80s on Friday.
That's all for this Thursday morning. I hope everyone has a great day today and remember to enjoy the weather when you can, it's the only weather you've got!
