40-year-old Michael Shelton, of Henagar, Alabama pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact murder. He now faces 15 years in federal prison for the crime.
36-year-old Rickey Fackrell of Vernal, Utah and 38-year-old Christopher Cramer of Ogden, Utah, were both sentenced to death in 2018 for first degree murder.
Investigators say Fackrell and Cramer stabbed Leo Johns to death in the U.S. Penitentiary in Beaumont, Texas.
Shelton pleaded guilty to being an accessory to the murder.
Investigators say all three inmates were members of the white supremacy group, Soldiers of the Aryan Culture.
