Klein & Ally came together to reinvent morning radio by building a passionate, interactive audience through genuine conversation & unique staples like LIE-DAY FRIDAY (forcing each other to answer questions while hooked up to a lie-detector), THE DANK TANK (investing their own money in listener’s “High-deas”), and #MASHTAGS. Listeners can expect a brilliantly dumb, unpredictably funny, and totally authentic show every time they tune in. They don’t want to be your #1 morning show, they’re perfectly happy being your good old reliable #2. Listen weekdays from 6-10am and be a part of the TWO CREW. The double deuce is loose!
As far as Kevin Klein's go, this Kevin is one of the top five most famous you’ve ever heard of... maybe. Klein’s lifelong dream was to win Powerball, but his second dream was to work for KROQ, the same station where he was a regular co-host on the long running Loveline w/ Dr. Drew. It seems his dream has come true, though he’s probably just high and imagining things.
Klein was formerly head writer on Carson Daly’s nationally syndicated weekly countdown show The Daly Download, that airs on over 150 radio stations across North America. Before joining KROQ, Klein hosted a top-rated morning show, Kevin Klein Live on CBS Radio’s KITS (LIVE105) from San Francisco, CA. Prior to KITS, Klein spent seven years hosting The Playboy Morning Show on SiriusXM. Klein has been featured in shows that have aired on VH1, MTV, Bravo and E!. He also claims he invented pizza soup.
Ally is a tap dancing lesbian who started in musical theater and ended up in radio by accident. Her career in the arts began at age 12 when she was cast as ‘college student’ in the musical Good News. Her mother made her attend callbacks dressed in her private school uniform and she still talks to her therapist about it. After going to college and touring the US in the title role in Anne Frank the Musical, she moved to San Francisco to immerse herself in comedy and lesbianism. She worked in sketch comedy and performed in improv tours across the country before falling into radio and never looking back. She formerly co-hosted Kevin Klein Live on LIVE105.3 in the Bay Area, then relocated to LA where she hosted a midday show on the nationally syndicated LGBT radio station Channel Q. She has a wife, a new baby boy, and two cats.
