A man who lives across the street told KNX News’ Jon Baird his daughter called the police after she heard noises.
“A lot of screaming...and a boy or girl screaming,” the man said. “But then she heard slashes like hitting wood.”
He added that five minutes later, she heard gunshots.
Police say there are no outstanding suspects and no danger to the community.
