It happened Monday between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. The man smashed “bodies and windows” of cars that were parked along 4th Street to 7th Street and Westmoreland Boulevard to Virgil Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
One woman told reporters she was inside her car when the man broke the back of her window.
Another woman told KNX News’ Jon Baird she was also inside her when the man smashed her passenger window with a window.
Detectives said the suspect wore a “Dallas” sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes, and was seen carrying a neon green bag.
Police warned that he is known to be hostile.
