LOS ANGELES (KNX) — An Amber Alert is in effect Friday for a missing two-year-old girl who was allegedly taken by her father in the Rampart Village neighborhood of Los Angeles, according to a statement from California Highway Patrol Friday.
Catalina Reyes Canino's mother said she was last seen with her 26-year-old father, Leonardo Rosales. Both are are believed to be traveling in a grey Honda Accord, similar to the one pictured below.

The little girl and her father were last seen around 10:45 p.m. Thursday, in the 100 block of South Reno Street, near Beverly Boulevard, where officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded for reports of a "kidnap in progress," the department said in a statement.
The girl's mother told LAPD she and Rosales are in an ongoing custody dispute and there is a restraining order filed against him. Regardless, she said he showed up Thursday night with two other men and demanded their daughter.
"[Rosales] forced his way into the residence and threatened the family while armed with a knife," LAPD said Friday. "He forcibly removed the child and fled in a grey Honda Accord with unknown license plate."
Rosales does not have any custodial rights to 2-year-old Canino.
The girl is described as 2 feet tall and about 26 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a light purple shirt with unicorn pajamas.
Rosales is described as 5 foot 7, 160 pounds, also with black hair and brown eyes. CHP said he should be “considered armed and dangerous,” according to KTLA.
Anyone who sees the pair is asked to call 911 immediately or reach out to LAPD at 213-484-3400.
