Apple's all-new store at The Grove in Los Angeles opens precisely a week before Black Friday, in a giant, new location, as the beloved tech maker prepares for the holiday shopping season with its Holiday Gift Guide.

Originally opened in 2002, The Grove shopping center's original Apple store (189 The Grove Dr.) was a hot spot for the Cupertino-based tech company, welcoming more than 27 million visitors in the past 19 years.
When Apple's new store opens on Nov. 19, its size will easily overshadow its predecessor. The new location is twice the previous store's size.
In a news release, the company said it "will serve as an entirely reimagined destination for the LA community to discover Apple's products and services, shop, get support, and participate in free Today at Apple sessions."
Apple added signage to the exterior of the building early this week. The new facade had already tipped many off, matching Apple's renderings of the new store's design.

Along with announcing the new store, Apple released its new Holiday Gift Guide. New this year — customers will be able to personalize holiday cards.
Some Apple stores remain closed due to a rise in COVID-19 cases regionally. However, the company's senior vice president of retail, Deirdre O'Brien, shared in the release that the company is ready to help make the holidays special, whether in person or online.

"Our teams can't wait to connect with customers to make this season special," O'Brien said. "Whether in stores or online, our Apple Specialists are ready to welcome customers, offer gift recommendations, and provide the support customers need throughout the holidays."
Apple's Holiday Gift Guide carries recommendations for customers looking for the right product depending on who they are buying it for.
