Avenged Sevenfold has had a very amicable partnership with the video game franchise, Call of Duty. The band has been contributing music to the game's soundtrack since the first Call of Duty: Black Ops in 2010, and the sequels Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
Now frontman and avid gamer M. Shadows is confirmed to be a playable character in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
A7X shared a screenshot of M. Shadows with actor Danny Trejo in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 with the caption, "Operation Apocalypse Z is here. More surprises in store..." Many fans suspect a new Avenged Sevenfold song appears in the game.
During a livestream with Treyarch, Shadows spoke about his involvement with the game and how he calls his appearance in Black Ops 4 "a dream come true.” You can catch the frontman's appearance at the one hour and 13 minute mark.
