
PALMDALE (CNS) - A suspect who was holed up inside a home in Palmdale has surrendered and was taken into custody Saturday, authorities said.
The incident was reported at about 4:10 a.m. Saturday in the 38000 block of Foxholm Drive, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported.
It was not immediately known what time the suspect surrendered.
Personnel from the sheriff's Special Enforcement Bureau responded to the location to assist the sheriff's Palmdale station with the incident.
The area has been deemed safe and all neighborhood evacuees were allowed to return to their homes, authorities said.
