Palm Desert, Calif. (KNX) - The 2022-23 AHL season will come to an end Wednesday night in Palm Desert, with Game 7 of the Calder Cup Finals.
In an epic series, the Coachella Valley Firebirds and the Hershey Bears have split the first six games, with each team winning three games at home.
The Coachella Valley Firebirds, who are the top development affiliate of the Seattle Kraken, forced a deciding game in their playoff series against the Bears with a 5-2 victory on Monday.
They set themselves up to possibly win the Cup in their first season as a team while the Bears try to win a league-record 12th championship.
Game 7 will be streamed for free on AHLTV and will also be televised live on NHL Network, NBC Sports Washington, and Root Sports Northwest.
Coverage of the Acrisure Arena event will begin Wednesday evening at 10 ET/7 PT.
