Shohei Ohtani hit three solo home runs and pitched six shutout innings, limiting the Brewers to two hits. He struck out 10 and walked three and was selected as the series MVP.

Ohtani (2-0) held Milwaukee hitless until Jackson Chourio hit a ground- rule double leading off the fourth.

The World Series will begin next Friday. Game 1 will be at Dodger Stadium if the Seattle Mariners win the American League Championship Series while it would be in Toronto if the Blue Jays win.

The Mariners lead the series, three game to two. Game 6 will be played Sunday in Toronto.

Ohtani hit a full-count sinker from Jose Quintana 446 feet into the right field pavilion leading off the bottom of the first, a 3-1 cutter from Chad Patrick 469 feet over the right field pavilion in the fourth and 1-2 four- seam fastball from Trevor Megill 427 feet over the center field fence in the seventh.

Ohtani was 3-for-29 for a .103 batting average with 14 strikeouts in previous seven games before Friday.

The sweep was the second by the Dodgers in a best-of-seven series. The other was in the 1963 World Series against the New York Yankees.

The Dodgers out-hit the Brewers 9-5. Will Smith had two singles to be the only Dodger besides Ohtani to have a multiple-hit game.

Chourio and William Contreras each had two hits for Milwaukee in front of a crowd announced at 52,883.

The Dodgers were 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position and left six runners on base.

The Brewers were 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position and also left six runners on base.
