A fire early Monday killed a dog inside a single- story Laguna Woods house in south Orange County.
The fire was reported just after 1 a.m. Monday in the 5100 block of Brazo, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

All of the human residents of the house got out safely but firefighters found a deceased dog during their search, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
