A new bid for Paramount could throw a wrench in its planned merger with Skydance.

Edgar Bronfman Jr., a veteran executive and former CEO of Warner Music Group, submitted a $4.3 billion bid for the media conglomerate on Monday night, according to multiple reports. Axios, however, is also reporting he is planning to submit a higher bid soon.
