Reports have surfaced that police in Gilford, New Hampshire have published an arrest warrant for singer Marilyn Manson stemming from two counts of alleged simple assault during an incident involving a videographer at one of his concerts in August of 2019.
According to Gilford PD chief Anthony Burpee the warrant, issued in October of 2019 for Manson whose real name is Brian Warner, has remained open because Manson had apparently never returned to the state to face the music.

While Chief Burpee declined to provide detailed information, Manson’s lawyer Howard King, said a videographer hired by the venue had asked for more than $35,000 “after a small amount of spit came into contact with their arm. After we asked for evidence of any alleged damages, we never received a reply.” King said the claims were "ludicrous" and said he and his client "remain committed to cooperating with authorities, as we have done throughout."
In a post on the Gilford PD's Facebook page, the department explained the "videographer had been subcontracted by a NH based company to video the concert, and had been located in the stage pit area when the alleged assaults occurred." Adding, "Mr. Warner, his agent and legal counsel have been aware of the warrant for some time and no effort has been made by him to return to New Hampshire to answer the pending charges."

While making sure to add that the alleged assault was "not sexual in nature," the warrant has been made public, Chief Burpee says, “simply because we’ve been attempting to clear the warrant since it was issued.” Making reference to the embattled singer’s most recent allegations of sexual abuse and trafficking, Burpee said his department wanted "to take care of his business" in the state "so that he and we can move forward."
Earlier this year, actress Evan Rachel Wood issued a statement alleging that Manson abused her while they were in a relationship. "He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years," she said in February. "I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail." Not long after, Game of Thrones actress Esmé Bianco filed a suit against the shock rocker and his former manager, Tony Ciulla, with allegations that the singer raped and sexually assaulted her.
TMZ has obtained some video of the alleged New Hampshire incident, which clearly ends with a dripping slug on the screen. According to the Gilford PD, a “Class A misdemeanor in NH can carry a possible jail sentence of less than one year and a fine of $2,000.00 or less.” Stay tuned for updates as they come in.
