As the days wind down to the release of new Metallica music on April 14, the band is giving everyone a look at what to expect from the various forms of packaging they're offering up.

It seems a crate of new pressings of Metallica's forthcoming album, 72 Seasons, recently fell off the back of a truck and into the tattooed hands of frontman James Hetfield.
So, he did the honorable thing and unboxed the wares for all to see, including the official track lengths of each song. After providing fans a detailed look at the vinyl and CD digipack version of the new packaging, Hetfield moved on to a lesser-used format, unwrapping the cassette version of the new album, even sticking his unboxing knife into the tapes' spindles to remind (or teach) viewers how to be kind and rewind.

Clocking in at 3:22, the shortest song would be the very first single released, “Lux Æterna,” while the closing number, “Inamorata,” clocks in at 11:10, the longest of the record’s 12 tracks.
72 Seasons is set to hit shelves and streaming services on April 14 (preorders available now) with a world tour kicking off soon after on April 27.
