Do you remember clipping coupons from the Sunday newspaper? Well, the city of Los Angeles is pushing for physical coupons to come back.

The city believes digital coupons make grocery shopping unfair for many people. That’s because some people don’t have access to phones or computers.

So now, the city wants to require stores to offer their digital discounts via physical coupons as well. It would also require grocery stores to make the paper coupons readily available to their customers.
