L.A. Sparks rookie Cameron Brink was among the four-player U.S. Olympic women's 3x3 team announced Wednesday by USA Basketball.
Brink was selected as the MVP of the 2023 FIBA 3x3 World Cup after helping the U.S. to the gold medal.
Brink was the second player chosen in the 2024 WNBA draft following a college career at Stanford, where she was twice selected as the national defensive player of the year. The 6-foot-4-inch forward is averaging 8.8 points and 5.4 rebounds in 24.6 minutes, in eight games entering Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Lynx.

The team also consists of Atlanta Dream guard Rhyne Howard, TCU guard Hailey Van Lith and forward Cierra Burdick who played for six WNBA teams between 2015 and 2021 and in Spain.
Brink, Burdick and Van Lith were teammates on the 2023 FIBA 3x3 World Cup champions.
"I'm so grateful to be selected and it's an honor to represent the United States at the Paris Olympics this year," Brink said. "The 3x3 training camp experience helped me with my transition into the league, and now I can't wait to start preparing for the games with Cierra, Rhyne and Hailey."
3x3 is played with a 12-second shot clock on a half court. Baskets inside the arc and free throws are worth one point and baskets made from outside the arc are worth two points.
The winner is the first team to score 21 points or the leading team at the end of the 10-minute game clock.
The U.S. won the inaugural gold medal in the women's 3x3 tournament at the Tokyo Olympics.
