The Queen Mary in Long Beach turned a profit in 2023.
From April to December, the ship produced $3.5 million in operating profits, according to the Long Beach Business Journal. It comes after the city spent $45 million on repairs over the last eight years to keep it afloat.
That money will be put back into the boat for maintenance and repairs that are still needed.
