Macaulay Culkin and girlfriend Brenda Song are first-time parents.

The partners welcomed a baby boy on Monday, April 5, they confirmed to Esquire.

“We’re overjoyed,” Culkin told the outlet in a brief statement.

The boy was named Dakota Song Culkin, after the “Home Alone” actor’s late sister.

Dakota Culkin died in a fatal car accident in Los Angeles in 2008. She was 29 years old.

Culkin met Song, a fellow actress, on the set of the film “Changeland.” They have been romantically linked since 2017.

In February 2020, Culkin said he was ready to start a family with his girlfriend.

“We practice a lot. We’re figuring it out, making the timing work. Because nothing turns you on more than when your lady comes into the room and says, ‘Honey, I’m ovulating,’” the actor told Esquire.

Culkin also said the relationship seemed too good to be true at first, adding that he kept waiting for the other foot to drop.

“And it’s always gonna drop,” he said. “Something bad’s gonna happen. Someone’s gonna die!”

Song told Esquire that people don’t understand Culkin, who is”unapologetically” himself.

“People don’t realize how incredibly kind and loyal and sweet and smart he is,” she told said. “Truly what makes Mack so special is that he is so unapologetically Mack. He knows who he is, and he’s 100 percent okay with that. And that to me is an incredibly sexy quality. He’s worked really hard to be the person he is.”

In  2019, she told Entertainment Tonight the two have a lot in common, including a mutual understanding of what it's like to be a “child star.”

"Child actors, we don't even get to talk about it, you just look each other in the eye and you nod and we know," she said.
