Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Sunkist Street for a report of a man abusing a dog, McClintock said. Part of the alleged abuse was videotaped and shared on social media, the sergeant added.
The terrier mix canine was seized on Sunday, taken to a local animal hospital and was being cared for by OC Animal Care, McClintock said.
