Man killed in East L.A shooting

A man was fatally shot in East Los Angeles, and an investigation was underway Monday.

The shooting occurred at 11:51 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of North Rowan Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Information was not immediately available on the identity of the man, who died at a hospital, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.

No arrests were reported, and no suspect description was released. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
