The Metro C Line (Green Line) rail service was disrupted Friday after a man was found dead in Lynwood.

Detectives were sent to the 11500 block of Long Beach Boulevard about 7 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Information was not immediately available on the identity of the man or on his cause of death.

Buses were brought in to shuttle rail passengers between the Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Station and the Lakewood Station, according to Metro, which advised passengers to allow 10 to 15 minutes of extra time.
