A man was injured Thursday in the Chatsworth area when he got into an argument with another man, who was later taken into custody for allegedly firing a gun during the altercation.

Officers were sent to a neighborhood near Chatsworth High School on Lurline Avenue, shortly after 9 a.m. Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. No one was hit by the gunfire.

Both men are in their 20s, according to police, who said there was no indication the incident was connected with the school. The campus was briefly placed on lockdown, according to reports from the scene.
