
More details emerged Thursday from authorities regarding a couple accused of abusing their 5-week-old baby in Santa Ana.
Mirian Jimenezolivera, who turned 34 on Wednesday, was charged with 11 felony counts of child abuse and endangerment for an incident on April 8, according to the criminal complaint.
Police were dispatched to a hospital, where the baby was admitted with fractures throughout the body, according to Santa Ana police Officer Natalie Garcia. Police did not say whether the baby is a boy or a girl.

Jimenezolivera, the baby's mother, pleaded not guilty Wednesday and was scheduled to return to court for a pretrial hearing May 23 in the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana.
The baby's father, co-defendant Edgar Willy Bustorodriguez, 35, was charged with being an accessory after the fact and pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Wednesday.
