An English bulldog stolen at gunpoint from his owner in West Hollywood has been found.

Capone was taken on Nov. 6 in the 1100 block of Olive Drive. Two men pointed a firearm at Capone’s owner, Justin Garcia, and told him to give them the dog “or you die.” Justin gave Capone to the suspects who then took off with the dog, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

After weeks of searching for him, Justin and his girlfriend, Sasha, got the call from deputies that Capone was found.

“We couldn't wait to just actually put our eyes on him, finally make sure that it was him,” Sasha told KNX News’ Emily Valdez. “We [were] trying not to get [our] hopes up too much the whole drive because we were expecting it to be another letdown where it's not our dog.”

Justin said he was relieved to be reunited with his dog.

“They were able to get Capone in such a safe way that there wasn't any trouble or any problem in trying to get him,” he told KNX News’ Emily Valdez.

The suspects who stole Capone have not yet been arrested.
