Various lane closures in both directions will take place from Monday through Friday.

Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., one lane of northbound and southbound I-5 between Lake Hughes Road and two miles north of Templin Highway will see possible closures and from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., up to three lanes may be closed on northbound and southbound lanes along the same stretch of the interstate.

In addition, the northbound and southbound Lake Hughes Road on- and off-ramps may be closed.

The paving rehab is part of a project started in 2022.

"The overall scope of the project includes replacing concrete slabs, upgrading drainage systems and guardrail, repairing and stabilizing slopes through rock scaling and installing geogrid, and construction of a retaining wall," according to a Caltrans statement.
