
Santa Ana police Friday were investigating what caused a collision that killed a motorcyclist.
The collision occurred about 6 a.m. Thursday at Bristol Street and Hemlock Way, according to Santa Ana police officer Natalie Garcia.
The motorcyclist killed in the collision was 23-year-old Tom Nunez Guadarrama of Santa Ana, Garcia said.
Guadarrama was riding north on Bristol, approaching Hemlock, when the driver of the other vehicle, going south on Bristol and making a left turn onto Hemlock, collided with the motorcyclist, Garcia said.

The driver was not injured, remained on scene and cooperated with investigators, who were still working to determine what caused the crash.
