
Classes were cancelled at Campbell Hall School in Studio City on Thursday after a student was killed in a crash in the school parking lot.
Counselors will be available between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. in the school gym for parents and students.
The crash happened after 3 p.m. on Wednesday. The student, who was 15 years old, was walking between a Rivian SUV and another car when the driver of the Rivian moved forward, according to LAPD Lt. Matthew Bielski
“It looks like he was pinned in between the vehicles,” Bielski said during the news conference.
The student was taken to the hospital, where he died. The student’s reportedly saw the crash happen.

Five other people, two students and three adults, were also in the accident.They were treated at the scene and released.
Bielski said no charges will be filed because the department sees this as a tragic accident.
