Over the last few years, the fast food wars have mainly revolved around one item: the fried chicken sandwich. As seemingly every chain added the sandwich to the menu, a few other menu item battles emerged as well.
One was over breakfast, and now, Taco Bell has decided to finally get back into the fight, offering free breakfast burritos to help relaunch their breakfast menu.

When it comes to fast food breakfast, Taco Bell was late to the game; first offering morning options in 2014, and temporarily pausing in March 2020.
According to CNN, the burritos have to be ordered in person, and Taco Bell will limit one per customer. The chain has three different options to choose from; one with eggs, sausage and nacho cheese sauce, one with eggs, potato bites, pico de gallo, a three-cheese blend and either bacon or sausage, and one with eggs, the three-cheese blend, a hash brown and bacon or sausage.
With this move, a full on fast food breakfast war may be on the way in no time.
