The zoo is the perfect place for people who want to see wild animals up close and personal, but sometimes people try to get a little too close.
Every so often a video goes viral of someone entering a zoo exhibit, only for the attempt to go horribly wrong.
A woman in Texas is the latest to make this daring journey, as video shows her entering a spider monkey exhibit and hand feeding the monkeys Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.
The incident occurred over the weekend at the El Paso Zoo, as the woman jumped over the barrier to enter the spider monkey enclosure.
As seen in the video, the woman stands near a waterfall as she tosses the Cheetos towards the monkeys.

Luckily, the monkeys and the woman weren’t harmed, according to People.
Still, the woman’s actions were called “Stupid and lucky," by zoo director Joe Montisano. Sadly, the monkeys have a specific diet that does not include Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.

Hopefully next time the woman tries to enter a zoo exhibit to feed the animals, she comes with a more appropriate snack.
