TORRANCE (CNS) - Firefighters from Torrance and neighboring jurisdictions battled a three-alarm blaze Monday morning that gutted Texas Loosey's saloon in a strip mall.
The fire was reported around 2 a.m. at 22252 Palos Verdes Blvd., Torrance police Lt. F. Ahmad told City News Service.
Two hours later, it appeared firefighters had put out the flames but video on Fox 11 showed they still had hoses flooding the interior of the gutted saloon to put out hot spots.
Video from the scene showed flames damaging a dental practice in the mall as well.
No injuries were reported.
Torrance police officers were blocking traffic in the area, Ahmad said.
Southbound traffic on Palos Verdes Boulevard is shut down at Sepulveda Boulevard and northbound traffic is shut down at Linda Drive.
