A wind advisory has been issued for parts of Los Angeles County until 1 p.m. Wednesday by the National Weather Service.
Northeast winds from 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected in the Santa Clarita Valley and Santa Susana Mountains, including Castaic, Newhall, Santa Clarita and Valencia.
Gusty winds can blow around unsecured objects and make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.
Use caution when driving and secure outdoor objects, the NWS recommends.
