"A female suspect picked up the victim's dog and fled," police said in a statement. "The victim chased after the suspect as she entered a white four-door sedan, which was driven by an additional suspect."

According to police, the suspects fled the scene heading southbound on Grand Avenue moments before the victim jumped on the hood of the vehicle, resulting in the victim falling off the sedan and suffering minor abrasions.

The female suspect was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, purple sweatpants and black shoes. Police said the second suspect was described as a man in his 20s, and the getaway vehicle was a white four-door Kia Forte.

Anyone with information regarding the alleged kidnapping was urged to contact LAPD Central Area Robbery Detective Mazzacano or Detective Stanziale at 213-996-1877.
