For The Summer of 98 Rock Cash On-Air / Text Contest, you must be both 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of one of the following California counties: Plumas, Sierra, Nevada, Placer, El Dorado, Amador, Calaveras, Tuolumne, Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Sacramento, Solano, Yuba, Sutter, Colusa and Yolo, at the time of entry to enter and win. Starting on Monday, June 22, 2026 and ending on Friday, July 3, 2026, listen each weekday (Monday through Friday) (each, a “Contest Day”), for the station to announce a designated keyword during the following contest play windows: (i) 7:00AM (PT) through 7:59AM (PT); (ii) 11:00AM (PT) through 11:59AM (PT); (iii) 3:00PM (PT) through 3:59PM (PT) and (iv) 5:00PM (PT) through 5:59PM (PT) (each, a “Window”). Upon hearing the keyword announcement, you may enter by texting the keyword to 916-909-0985 for a chance to win that Contest Day’s prize. You will have until the end of the Window in which the keyword it is announced to enter. Each keyword is only valid during the Window they are announced. There will be up to four (4) contest keywords and up to one (1) winner per Contest Day. Limit of one (1) text per phone number per keyword. An individual may only win once in this Contest. At approximately 6:01PM (PT) each Contest Day, one (1) potential winner will be randomly selected from among all entries received for that Contest Day. Entries will not roll over to subsequent Contest Days. Station will notify the potential winner via the phone number from which their entry originated within thirty (30) minutes of their selection. Potential winner must respond to the phone number or email provided by Station in the notification by no later than thirty (30) minutes from the time notification was sent by Station. Response to any other Station number or email will not be accepted. Failure to respond to Station’s notification within the deadline will be deemed entrant’s forfeiture of prize, the potential winner will be disqualified, and another potential winner will be selected and notified in the same manner until a potential winner responds within the deadline and, upon verification of eligibility and compliance with these Contest rules, is determined the winner (each, a “Winner”). Station is not obligated to contact any potential winner more than one (1) time. The up to ten (10) verified Winners in this Contest will each receive $1,000.00 in the form of a company check payable to verified Winner only and made available approximately six (6) to eight (8) weeks from the date upon which Winner completes and submits all documents required by the Station (the, “Prize”). The Winner for each Contest Day will be announced on-air at approximately 3:00PM (PT) on the following weekday (Monday for Friday Winner(s)). Winner need not be listening to win.

Winner has up to thirty (30) days from the date of verification to complete and submit all documents required by Station or Prize will be deemed forfeited by Winner. Entrants may receive a bounceback text from Station with confirmation of Contest entry, but Entrants will receive no “extra” offers, information, or marketing message content.
