Rumors have been swirling for the last couple weeks on a reoping date for Disneyland. Today, Disney made it official that they will be reopening on a very special date!
What is so special about July 17th? Well, July 17th, 1955 was Disneyland's official opening day! How great is that?!?!
Here are a few details you need to know:
- You will need a reservation to get into Disneyland or California Adventure. Capacity will be limited so these reservations will most likely go fast. More details on the reservation system will be available soon.
- Disneyland Resort has put a temporary pause on all new ticket sales, that includes annual passholder renewals. In order to get into the park you will have to be a current annual passholder or have a ticket purchased prior to the closure.
- Character meet and greets will not return when the parks open, but they will be on hand in new forms of entertainment.
- Parades and fireworks are on hold for now.
