No event at the Lakeside Rodeo Arena combines more of these elements than bull riding. A contest that’s been voted The Most Dangerous Sporting Event in America by Sports Writers of America. Bull Riding has become the epitome of rodeo excitement! While there are other popular rodeo events, bull riding dangerously yet predictably exciting, is consistently a crowd favorite. In addition to the excitement of bull riding, other rodeo events such as Jr. Bull Riding and Mutton Bustin' (both equally crowd pleasing!) will be included in the Bulls Only Rodeo show.
Through the provision of the Bulls Only Rodeo event, we hope to earn the dollars that will allow our Lakeside Optimist Club to continue to provide the needs for the youth of our community.

For the Bulls Only Rodeo 4-packs online contest, enter starting at 12:00 am PT on August 24, 2026 and ending at 11:59pm PT on October 4, 2026 by going to kson.com, clicking on this contest's link, and completing the online entry form. Must join KSON loyal listener email club in order to be considered for prize. On or about October 5, 2026 at approximately 9:00 am PT up to one (1) winner, will be randomly selected from all entries received, and upon verification of eligibility, will win four (4) tickets to Bulls Only Rodeo on either October 9 or 10 in 2026 at Lakeside Rodeo Arena in Lakeside, CA, courtesy of Lakeside Optimist Youth Foundation. Prize pack it valued at approximately $120. A total of one (1) winner will be selected in the contest. Redeeming and using the prize(s) in this contest requires for the winner(s) (i) to have a valid email address and an app-enabled mobile device capable.
