Name: Shaka (pictured above)
Age: 9 years
Gender: Spayed female
Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier

Shaka is a very special lady. She is a staff favorite, and once you've met her it's easy to see why! This frosted face is sweeter than pie! In her previous home Shaka did wonderfully with children. It took some time for her to accept the resident cat, but after about a month they were best friends! She is over the moon with excitement whenever she gets the chance to meet new people! Shaka is polite, good on a leash and housetrained. However, now that she's getting older she needs potty breaks more frequently. Shaka has always struggled with allergies. In the past she's done well with regular medicated baths, allergy medication, or injections from the doggie dermatologist. She is blind in one eye, but it doesn't slow her down and we think it makes her look mysterious! If you're looking for a heart of gold look no further! Please call (619)299-7012 to learn more about Shaka today!
