According to a new survey from WalletHub, California is the best state for singles in the U.S. Factors that contributed to the Golden State's top placement include opportunities for dating, as well as romance and fun (aided considerably by California's most restaurants and movie theatres per capita, compared to other states). In terms of dating economics, though, California was at the bottom of the list.
