Feeding San Diego is a non-profit organization, which provids over 32 million meals each year to children, families, seniors, college students, military families, and veterans in partnership with a network of 320 local charities, schools, faith communities, meal sites, and food pantries.
They’ve launched the “Give a Meal” initiative to bolster sales at local restaurants while also giving back to those in need in San Diego County. Carissa Casares, Communications Manager, for Feeding San Diego, explains how the program works.
