The Padres inched closer to clinching a playoff berth on Sunday afternoon thanks to a 7-3 win over the Marlins to complete a three-game sweep at Petco Park. Walker Buehler delivered a quality start as he continues to make the case to start a game in the Wild Card round, pitching into the 7th inning and allowing just three runs. Jake Cronenworth was the star of the game offensively, going 3-4 at the plate with 2 home runs and 5 RBIs. Fernando Tatis Jr. added his 25th home run of the year as well. The Padres are off on Monday before heading to LA to face the Dodgers beginning on Tuesday.
