Online shopping is easy. Perhaps it is too easy considering shopping online went up 18% this year thanks to coronavirus and the relative ease and speed of spending money. Amazon's patented 1-Click shopping literally but whatever item you are looking at in one mouse click. Considering about 69% of items in an online shopping cart are abandoned at checkout, it is a smart business move for the online titan. So if you are remorseful about MANY of your online purchases, you should consider turning off this 1-click ordering. In your Amazon account, look for "Accounts and Lists" on the top right of your screen, and select "My Account" in the drop-down menu. Then, on the lower left of your screen, under "Ordering and shopping preferences," click on "1-Click settings." You'll be taken to the "My Payments" screen; the option to disable 1-Click will be in the top right corner. Considering most money experts recommend waiting 24 hours before purchasing items as a good way to control impulse spending, it may be a good move on your part especially as the holidays approach.
