Between bursts of intense pursuit, Whippets like Maya love to stretch out and relax for long hours, enjoying the role of a loving, and loved, companion. Maya would like a fenced yard to run in, but it's not a deal breaker as long as she is exercised daily. Maya is a robust, low-maintenance dog. She is smart and learns quickly what is expected of her.
