3 Shootings, 3 Dead; A Violent Valley Weekend

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Three people are dead after a trio of shootings in Las Vegas over the weekend. One of the shootings involved Metro

Two people were killed after being shot in an alley near Twain and Paradise. Police say a group of four were walking in the alley when they were approached by three men, one of whom opened fire. No arrests have been made, as police look for both the suspects and a motive. 

One person was killed near Spring Mountain and Valley View. Police say two people went into an apartment where a woman and her boyfriend lived. The boyfirend fired shots, killed one of the men, then fled the scene. No one else was hurt. The boyfriend is being sought. 

The third shooting involved Metro Police. 

Police were called to a neighborhood in the far northwest valley after a woman said her boyfriend was acting suicidal. Once police located the man, they say he took off in a car, but stopped a short time later.

Police say he then got out of the car and fired a weapon. Police returned fire but no one was hit.

The man then barricaded himself, but after a few hours surrendered without incident.
