A Violent End To A Vegas Weekend

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Las Vegas Metro Police's Homicide unit was busy over the weekend, handling 3 cases that occured within a 24 hour period.

The first happened Sunday in a mobile home park near Sahara and Boulder Highway.

Police say a woman shot and killed her neighborbor. Investigators say they know the motive but aren't yet saying what it was. The suspected shooter and the victim haven't had their names released.

Later in the afternoon, a teenager was shot and killed near Nellis and Las Vegas Boulevard.

According to police, the victim was walking on the sidewalk when he met up with several other men. Words were exchnged and the teenager was shot. Police believe they all knew each other. So far, no one's been arrested.

Finally, early Monday, Metro reported a homicide near the area of McWilliams and H Streets. Few details have been released on that case, with Metro planning to hold a press conference on it Monday morning.
