LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Allegiant Stadium is expected to be completed today, and they have a permit to show for it.
Thursday, Clark County issued a temporary Certificate of Occupancy for the home of the Las Vegas Raiders, which is slated for completion Friday after two-and-a-half years of construction. There are still a few so-called "punch list" items that need to be done, but the heavy work is finished
The first major event was to have been a Garth Brooks concert on August 22nd, but the coronavirus pandemic forced the country music legend to postpone that show until February 27th of 2021.
Currently, the first scheduled event is a Monday Night Football game between the Saints and Raiders on September 21st.
