LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Las Vegas Metro Police have made an arrest in a fatal hit and run that happened downtown last Saturday.
Earlier this week, Metro had released a picture of a vehicle they say was involved in the crash, which happened just after 5am at Las Vegas Boulevard and Owens. Police say 60 year old Stanley Harmon was crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a newer model white Dodge Durango.
The impact of the crash threw Harmon clear off of the road. Emergency responders rushed him to U.M.C., but he didn't make it.
On Thursday, Metro reported an arrest in the case. 32 year old Delila Tormos was taken into custody and charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident involving death or personal injury
