Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Metro Police say a juvenile is in custody in connection to the shooting death of a woman in the parking lot of an apartment complex near Lamb and Charleston on Monday night.
The female suspect, whose identity hasn't been released because of her age, is facing involuntary manslaughter charges. Police say the girl was part of a group that was hanging out and listening to music in a car.
Las Vegas Metro Police investigators say that someone sitting in the back seat fired a shot. After the shooting, police say three people fled the scene while two others stayed on scene and talked with police.
Right now it's believed that the shooting was accidental.
The shooting victim has been identified as 18-year-old Ayiana Wess.
