
LAS VEGAS (KXNT) - As properties for MGM Resorts International and Wynn Resorts Ltd shut down along the Strip to prevent the spread of coronavirus, other companies say they will remain open.
Caesars Entertainment says that while hotel and casino operations will continue, they will be shutting down the buffets at all of their properties indefinitely.
Caesars Entertainment Vegas attractions including the High Roller observation wheel & Eiffel Tower Experience will remain open with adjusted hours of operation.

Meanwhile, Las Vegas Sands, which operates the Venetian and Palazzo resorts, say they will be keeping those places open while respecting the new CDC social distancing guidelines aimed at preventing the virus spread.
The Sahara Hotel announced that it would laying off a number of employees due to the drop in business. The exact number isn't known.
The company said in a statement that the layoffs were necessary to absorb costs that would enable full-time employees to keep their benefits.
All of the MGM Resort and Wynn Resorts properties on the Strip will cease hotel openarions on Tuesday, with the Cosmopolitan doing likewise on Wednesday.
