LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Caesars Entertainment is taking its coronavirus guidelines a step further.
All employees under Caesars in Clark County are now required to get tested for the coronavirus, according to a statement yesterday from the company.
Employees have until July 17th to get tested, and they will get "removed" from the work schedule if they fail to get tested by that time.
The move comes amid a surge of coronavirus cases in Clark County that have pushed the number of people with the virus to over 20,000.
The company spokesperson said in a statement, “The number of cases was much lower when we started reopening properties on June 4, and we started the mandatory testing program on June 29.”
Caesars Entertainment recently made the headlines when word got out of a memo from the company's CEO that said that employees who fail to wear a face covering could face termination from their job.
