LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - The Clark County School District Board of Trustees has unanimously approved CCSD’s plans for how they’ll operate during the fall semester.

The plan, released late last month, calls for a blended learning model, where students attend classes two days per week and do distance learning from home the other three.

Superintendent Jesus Jara admitted that the plan could still be tweaked depending not only on what the COVID-19 situation is in Nevada when school begins in late August, but also on what cuts may be made to education during the state legislature’s current special session.

The plan will now be submitted to the Nevada Department of Education for approval.

Clark County teachers are scheduled to report back to work on August 10th, with students starting fall semester on August 24th.
